1. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of sweepstakes entry. Employees of Microsoft Corporation, 206 Inc, Cottonwood Enterprises, and their parent, affiliate and subcontracted companies as well as the immediate families of each, or persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible. Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. laws and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void in Puerto Rico, outside the US and where prohibited or restricted. By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, administrators and Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
2. Promotion Period: Sweepstakes begins at 8:00am PST on December 13, 2011 and ends at 11:59pm PST on December 24, 2011 (the "Promotion Period"). One Sweepstakes drawing will be conducted each day during the twelve (12) day promotion period according to the schedule in Rule #4 below. For the purpose of this Sweepstakes, a "day" is defined as a twenty-four (24) hour period from 12:00 Midnight, PST until 11:59pm PST except for December 13, 2011 when entry will be from 8:00am PST until 11:59pm PST..
3. How To Enter: During the Promotion Period, visit http://facebook.com/windows (the "Windows Page on the Facebook Platform") and "like" the Windows Facebook page. Once you have liked the Windows Facebook page, you are then qualified to enter each applicable daily drawing via the Sweepstakes module on the Windows Facebook page by entering the requested Sweepstakes registration information inside the Sweepstakes module in the "What's New - Everyone - United States" tab located at https://www.facebook.com/windows?sk=app_221398727900777&app_data=dp%3D1670%26dv%3D2075 Limit one (1) entry perday per person, Facebook account, email address or account. If it is discovered that a participant has attempted to enter with multiple e-mail addresses, Facebook accounts or under multiple identities, or uses any other method or device to enter multiple times per day during the Promotion Period, such participant will be disqualified. Sweepstakes entries do not automatically roll over into subsequent daily Sweepstakes drawings, so Sweepstakes entrants must register each day to become eligible for each of the daily Sweepstakes drawings.

Twelve (12) Windows 7-Equipped Samsung Series 9 Notebook Prize Packages. Each prize package consists of two (2) Samsung Series 9 Notebooks equipped with Windows 7 software. Approximate retail values of Samsung Series 9 Notebook prize is $1,299.99. Approximate retail value of prize package is $2,599.98. Exact models and colors determined solely by Sponsors. Approximate retail value of all prizes available is $31,199.76. Odds of winning any prize depend on the number of valid Sweepstakes Entries received for the day corresponding with each specific daily sweepstakes drawing. No substitution of prizes will be allowed except by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Any participant who is notified that he/she has won a Sweepstakes Prize is deemed to be a potential winner until such time as Sponsors determine that the participant is eligible to win in accordance with these Official Rules. Limit one (1) prize package per person or household over the course of the Promotion Period.
5. Sweepstakes Drawing: Each of the daily sweepstakes drawings will be held within twenty-four (24) hours of the close of the previous day's entry deadline. Each random drawing will be conducted by a Microsoft Corporation employee from among all valid Sweepstakes entries received during each daily Sweepstakes entry period. All decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Potential Sweepstakes Prize winner will be notified via email within twenty-four (24) hours of the Sweepstakes drawing. Potential winners must reply via email to the prize notification within forty-eight (48) hours of attempted notification. Potential winners will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected if potential winner fails to reply via email within forty-eight hours, or if prize notification email is returned as undeliverable. Potential Sweepstakes Prize winner will also be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity and Advertising Consent and Release (except where prohibited by law) and such other documents reasonably required by Sponsors. All such documents must be signed and returned within ten (10) days of notification or prize will be forfeited. Allow 6-8 weeks for prize delivery.
6. Conditions of Participation & Certain Restrictions: The participant is solely responsible for registering for the Sweepstakes drawings between December 13, 2011 and December 24, 2011, as well as replying to a prize notification email within forty-eight (48) hours and properly claiming a prize within 10 days of prize notification if selected as a Sweepstakes prize winner. Prizes may not be transferred or assigned. Prize winners must agree to certain terms and conditions related to eligibility, release of liability, and Sponsors' use of winner's name and/or likeness for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) as part of the prize claim process. Noncompliance may result in disqualification. Once the prize has been delivered to the winner's residence via delivery-confirmed mail or courier, the prize is considered "awarded." Taxes on all prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsors to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the property of Microsoft Corporation and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. By participating, entrants agree to release Microsoft Corporation, Facebook, all prize providers and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, wholesales, retailers or distributors or advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, which entrant may now or hereafter be entitled to assert, including but not limited to, any death, injury, loss of enjoyment, damage to computer equipment, or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused or contributed to by participation in the Sweepstakes, any of the prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes and/or in connection with the awarding, receipt and use or misuse of prize, and/or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Released Parties are not responsible for misdirected, late, lost, delayed, inaccurate, damaged, garbled, incomplete, undelivered or stolen entries, delayed or misdirected entries for whatever reason, for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, or for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delayed transmissions or in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by the way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines, or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise and any mechanical, electronic, network, computer, printing, typographical, human or other error relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Sponsors or Administrator reserve the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond their reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors or Administrator in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsors or Administrator reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsors or Administrator reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Sweepstakes Rules or any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys' fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors' failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
7. List of Prize Winners: Names of all prize winners will be available after the termination of the Sweepstakes. To receive a list of winners, mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope accompanied with a signed, hand-printed request to "Microsoft Social Media Winners' List", PO Box 11450, Bozeman, MT 59719-1450. All requests must be received by January 31, 2011.
